Our cabin in located in the Spring Creek RV Resort, making it the perfect place to come during the winter to get away from the cold temps of the north as well as enjoying the warm summers in Arizona. The park is small with less than 80 RV spaces. Our cabin is the only private rental in the park. The park has a clubhouse that has cable TV and a pool table that is available for anyone staying in the park. Bathrooms with shower facilities and a laundromat are also located at the clubhouse. The clubhouse is a great gathering place for the afternoon happy hour during the winter months and potluck dinners in the summer months. Spring Creek RV Resort is located behind the Spring Creek Store where you can find everything from beer to butter. Gas and diesel are also sold here and it is the only place other than the Marina to buy fuel. Across the street is the Roosevelt post office and next to the store is Boston's Lake House Bar & Grill. All a very short walk from the cabin. Our cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed and there is a fold out sofa bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen complete with all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils needed to enjoy your stay. The TV in the living area is complete with Satellite TV so you can stay up to date with all the sports and HBO specials. The 600 SF covered deck is a great place to relax after a long day on the lake or enjoy a summer monsoon. The concrete driveway is large enough to leave a 24' boat connected to your tow vehicle. Oracle is a haven for hikers, there are many trails in the area that offer amazing adventures and scenery. The Oracle Ridge trailhead that goes to the top of Mt. Lemmon is five minutes' walk from the house and definitely advised. Also, the Oracle State Park, 5 minutes by car, has wonderful trails that look out over the San Pedro Valley and Galiuro Mountains. Catalina State Park with spectacular lower desert scenery and trails is 20 minutes away, and much more is available in the area. The most important aspect of La Casita is the experience of quiet serenity and connection to nature. The ever-changing views of the foothills as the sun moves across them, the birds that fly in and out of the garden calling to each other, and the delicate occasional sound of the wind chimes connect one with nature. The peaceful privacy creates a unique energy that makes La Casita so special. Enjoy activities or peace and quiet with nature. We have just installed a new sound system and a new large 55" LG OLED HD TV system. It's awesome. One of the best parts of Saddlebrook is going over and watching the baseball games, most days they play 3 games. It's a beautiful ball field. In Saddlebrook, you can drive a golf cart all around the compound. It's fun. Everybody fits in. We are all there to live and have fun.
